Hail Season in Full Effect April

The Hail Season is in Full Effect across the United States with over 200 hail reports already in April as of this Blog Post. Although the Rocky Mountain States usually don't see their severe hail storms until the summer, there have been reports of hail falling in Colorado Springs already.

The Tornado Alley states are in the middle of their severe season with hail rocks reported as big as 3.25" in Harmon, OK on April 3rd. According to Stormersite.com there have been significant hail reports 9 out of the first 11 days in April. There were reports of 4" hail rocks in Alto, Texas and 4.5" in Houston on April 6th which are the largest hail rocks reported as of this Blog Post.
